Dune 2000 is a real-time strategy video game, released by Westwood Studios in 1998 for Microsoft Windows, and later ported to the PlayStation. It is a partial remake of Dune II, which is also based on Frank Herbert's Dune universe. The premise of the game is a battle royale for control of the planet Arrakis, between the Atreides, Harkonnen, and a third, non-canon faction, House Ordos, with the Padishah Emperor joining the fight against the player at the end.

Thorvald of Lym sourced the game's live-action cinematics for Emperor Frederick during the Gem escapade.
