Godwin's Law is a rule created by Mike Godwin in 1990, which states: "The longer an online discussion goes on, the probability of a comparison involving Hitler and/or the Nazis approaches 1." It is overused a fair amount, which robs the legitimate comparisons of their impact.
It hasn't been cited in DYOS recently, although Nazis did appear a while ago.
