The Dreadnought Sajuuk was a massive warship that served as the flagship of Commander Laes' fleet during the Battle of Nar Kreeta in DRAW Your Own Story 11. Heavily armed and armoured, it was capable of withstanding entire fleets on its own.[1] Its signature weapon was a "Big-Assed Cannon" similar to the Death Star's superlaser, which was seen going toe-to-toe with an Eclipse-class dreadnought.[2]

With the Sajuuk apparently impervious to a conventional attack, Stylesjl proposed a boarding action to disable the ship from within.[3][2] After the party was captured, Laes disclosed that the ship would self-destruct in the event of a mutiny.[4] When Stylesrj boarded to duel him, Laes primed an antimatter bomb that would destroy the ship and Nar Kreeta; although the bomb was disarmed, it triggered the original self-destruct sequence, and the ship blew up soon after Laes was killed.[5][6]

Behind the scenes

Sajuuk is an ancient warship found in the game Homeworld 2. In order to use this monster, three Hyperspace Cores are needed, which are found as the plot progresses. The cores are reunited with the ship and Sajuuk is then used to defend the world of Hiigara, using the power from the three cores to power up the massive cannon, which is the only thing that can destroy phased targets.

The ship isn't any bigger than the standard Shipyard, but in DYOS, it was upscaled to roughly the size of a small moon, like the Death Star. Its arsenal was also enhanced to showcase Laes as Genre-Savvy, by including a counter to every conceivable form of attack. Despite its size, thanks to automated systems it could effectively be piloted by a crew of 12 and contained a single escape pod, stolen by Stylesjl & Co. when they fled the ship.[7]
