Homestuck

It works something like this.

Homestuck is a multimedia ...thing... that began as the fourth official instalment of MS Paint Adventures by Andrew Hussie, running from April 13, 2009 to April 13, 2016. The story revolves around children playing the beta version of "SBURB", a reality-altering computer game. The plot quickly becomes about a thousandfold more ludicrous than DYOS, spiralling into multiple universes, timelines, and meta transcendence. As with preceding MSPAs, the comic models itself after point-and-click adventure games and the narrative is told in the second person. It incorporates still images, GIF animations, Flash videos, and even interactive segments created by Hussie and a roster of other contributors. At over ten thousand individual "pages" and more words than some weighty novels, it is one of the longest webcomics of all time.

Homestuck includes numerous references, and in some cases whole canonical reimaginings of Hussie's previous comics, including Problem Sleuth, Jailbreak, and the so-bad-it's-good Sweet Bro and Hella Jeff. Homestuck fans can be found across the Internet, typically quoting memes in YouTube comments, flooding dA with fan-art, and uploading spoilers to Tumblr literally seconds after the page airs.

mythmonster2, whose current avatar is that of Jack Noir, one of the story's leading antagonists, appears in an entire comic emulating the MSPA style.
