Operation MacArthur was the codename for the Coruscanti offensive against Enclave holdouts in the South Pacific and Southeast Asia[1], likely named in honour of General Douglas MacArthur and the Philippines campaign of 1944–45 (his "return to the Philippines"). The operation was first announced November 20, 2010, and concluded with the Enclave's surrender following its failed Japanese salient in January 2011.[2] By the end of the war, all Enclave-occupied countries and territories had fallen under Coruscanti control, more than doubling the nation's holdings in the Pacific.
